Ixchel is company founded in 2005 with main activity of returnable packaging sorting in Can Beverage Industry. Our facility is based in Košice city, in East Slovakia. We have more than 50 employees.

What we do

At a fraction of the cost of a new pallet, our technique is giving a new life to plastic pallets that are currently unusable. The weld is so strong, that you will not recognize in usage the difference between new and repaired pallets. Repairing your equipment can significantly improve the lifespan of your product and consequently extend your return on investment.

Biggest competitive advantage of our company, which we can bring you is: for most damaged parts and ones which can't be repaired by welding, we can produce the plastic mold/form and produce these parts and just stick/weld them to the pallets.

Every year plastic pallets users are forced to shell out for expensive replacements to replenish their actual pallets stock. Replacements are expensive and often come with very long lead times. Replacements don’t solve the problem of what to do with the broken ones that are still taking up valuable space in the company.

Service we provide

Plastic pallets repair

  1. Reception of the damaged plastic pallets in our repair premises
  2. Confirmation by email of the quantity of received plastic pallets
  3. Full inspection of each pallet
  4. Report containing the type of damages per pallet and quantity of repairable pallets. If serious damage, therefore also pictures
  5. Written offer for the repair costs per pallet & lead-time
  6. After customer confirmation initiate repair process
  7. Repaired pallets are washed and clean
  8. If long term contract, for the most frequent damaged parts, we are able to produce Plastic mold/form specific pallet part. Therefore we can repair also parts, where not possible only welding

Plastic pallets washing

  1. We are washing all plastic pallets with high pressure hot water compressor and also manually
  2. We are preparing investment in washing equipment for plastic pallets, which is modern state-of-the-art fitted for plastic pallets
  3. It is modern industrial wash line with the capability to hygienically clean all types of returnable equipment - plastic pallets
  4. Hygienic equipment washing is an important part of the use of returnable packaging removing all forms of soiling created whilst being transported through factory settings, distribution networks and supply chains
  5. At Ixchel the plastic pallets will be hygienically washed, QA checked and then returned ready for use
  6. Our aim is to get BRC Certificates for the plastic pallets repair & washing services
